Jared started his career in public accounting at Stockman Kast Ryan + Company in 2016. Before stepping into the role of Tax Operations Manager in 2022, Jared provided tax consultation to a number of industries such as real estate, financial institutions, corporations, partnerships, small businesses and more.
Prior to public accounting, Jared worked as a marketer and training manager within the food service industry. In this role he was responsible for maintaining training programs, franchise standards and assisting the management team with growing the presence of new or underperforming locations.
Jared is a member of the Colorado Society of Certified Public Accountants (COCPA).
Jared enjoys hiking, basketball + comedy shows.
Justin started with SKRCO as an intern in 2018. He has experience working with real estate entities, construction companies, opportunity zone businesses and high-net worth individuals. Previous to joining SKR+CO, Justin worked as a laborer for a local construction company that specializes in the construction of Caissons.
Justin is a licensed Enrolled Agent.
Justin is currently a master’s of accounting candidate at University of Colorado Colorado Springs. In his spare time he volunteers as the wrestling coach for both Falcon High School and Falcon Middle School.
Justin enjoys coaching, rooting for his Pittsburgh sports teams and spending time with his family and friends.
Grant started as a SKR+CO intern in January of 2017 before becoming a full-time employee in May of 2017. Grant has experience in a variety of industries including real estate, multi-state corporations + small businesses. Grant has worked with smaller clients that require more hands on business advisory as well as larger clients that have complex tax structures and transactions.
Grant volunteers with University of Colorado Colorado Springs and their College of Business by talking to current classes and meeting with an alumni group. He is also a member of the Colorado Society of Certified Public Accountants (COCPA) + the Association of International Certified Professional Accountants (AICPA).
Grant is a graduate of Leadership Pikes Peak’s “Leadership Now!” class of 2022 and was honored as a Rising Star in 2023.
Grant formerly served as the treasurer on the Board of Directors for CONO, Building Neighborhood Networks.
Grant enjoys playing basketball, spending time with his family, snowboarding + exploring Colorado.
James began his public accounting career at SKR+CO in 2016. He has experience working on small to medium sized business returns that embrace complex transactions. These transactions include deferred gain from involuntary conversions and like kind exchanges, look back calculations on long-term construction contracts, stock redemptions + capitalization requirements. James also excels at reporting and the computation of profit allocations of real estate investment partnerships.
James is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Colorado Society of Certified Public Accountants (COCPA). James currently serves as the treasurer on the board at CONO.
James enjoys doing home improvement projects, various outdoor recreational activities + traveling to visit his friends + family.
Danielle has over a decade of experience in public accounting. She enjoys creating connections with her clients and explaining the tax ramifications of their current and future business strategies. She works primarily with partnerships and S corporations with a concentration in business acquisitions and real estate transactions, as well as the individual owners. She prides herself on her organizational skills and prompt communication while fostering positive relationships with current and future clients.
Danielle is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), the Colorado Society of Certified Public Accountants (COCPA), the Southern Colorado Women’s Chamber of Commerce and the Colorado Springs chapter of the W Source.
She currently serves as a board member + a financial committee member for the Colorado Springs Pioneers Museum and is on the UCCS College of Business Dean’s Community Advisory Board. Danielle formerly served as the treasurer on the board of directors for Colorado Springs Rising Professionals.
A passionate supporter of the Colorado Springs community, Danielle was honored as a Rising Star in 2020.
Danielle enjoys golf, traveling, visiting museums with her son and husband & hosting summer BBQs.
