Dave has been in public accounting since 1975. His experience includes performing, planning and supervising audits of numerous companies in virtually all segments of the southern Colorado economy. He has worked for clients with revenues ranging from none to in excess of $200 million. He specializes in financial institutions, healthcare, real estate and high tech industries.
His experience in valuation encompasses multiple industries and situations, such as estate and gift tax, buy/sell transactions and matrimonial dispute. Dave has testified in a variety of situations involving lost profits and accounting and auditing issues.
Dave has been an accredited Certified Valuation Analyst since 1998. He was previously a member of the numerous Small Business, Real Estate and Nonprofit committees as well as a Forensic and Litigation Services committee.
He serves as secretary of the Garden of the Gods Foundation. He was appointed in 1999 by the Governor to the Board of the Colorado Education and Cultural Facilities Authority (a State of Colorado conduit debt issuer) and served as chairman during his tenure.
Dave is also involved with many local community organizations, including The Pikes Peak Council, Boy Scouts of America, Community Partnership for Child Development (Head Start), Pikes Peak United Way, Pikes Peak Mental Health Center, Pikes Peak Foundation for Mental Health, Palmer Land Trust and the Colorado Springs Economic Development Corporation.
Josh enjoys helping his clients succeed and advising them on potential tax savings opportunities. He has experience working with high net worth clients, closely held businesses, C-corporations, S-corporations, partnerships, limited liability companies, individuals, nonprofit organizations, real estate entities, medical practices, 1031 exchanges, DST Investments, cost segregation advice, and accounting method changes.
Josh is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), Colorado Society of Certified Public Accountants (COCPA).
Josh is an avid golfer, skier, and outdoorsman.
Doreen has over twenty years of experience in public accounting, serving a wide array of clients such as syndicated real estate partnerships, multi-fund investment partnerships, multistate corporations, small businesses, nonprofits, private foundations, and individuals.
Doreen is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), the Colorado Society of Certified Public Accountants (COCPA) and the Colorado Springs chapter of Kingdom Advisors. She also has her Not-for-profit certificate from the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA).
Doreen enjoys mountain biking and going for walks with her dog.
Danielle has over a decade of experience in public accounting. She enjoys creating connections with her clients and explaining the tax ramifications of their current and future business strategies. She works primarily with partnerships and S corporations with a concentration in business acquisitions and real estate transactions, as well as the individual owners. She prides herself on her organizational skills and prompt communication while fostering positive relationships with current and future clients.
Danielle is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), the Colorado Society of Certified Public Accountants (COCPA), the Southern Colorado Women’s Chamber of Commerce and the Colorado Springs chapter of the W Source.
She currently serves as a board member + a financial committee member for the Colorado Springs Pioneers Museum and is on the UCCS College of Business Dean’s Community Advisory Board. Danielle formerly served as the treasurer on the board of directors for Colorado Springs Rising Professionals.
A passionate supporter of the Colorado Springs community, Danielle was honored as a Rising Star in 2020.
Danielle enjoys golf, traveling, visiting museums with her son and husband & hosting summer BBQs.
Jena has been in public accounting since 2009 and spent over two years with a nationally ranked firm in California prior to joining the SKR+CO team. She has experience advising clients on various economic and regulatory risks within their industry and resolving complex accounting issues. Jena specializes in employee benefit plans, financial institutions, small businesses, healthcare organizations, construction and nonprofit audits.

Jena enjoys cooking, games, gardening, hiking, spending time with her pets, reading, snowboarding and travel.
