With over fifteen years experience in public accounting, Kyle provides top-quality assurance services across various industries, including distribution, manufacturing, technology, and employee benefit plans. His expertise covers audits,, reviews, EBP audits, and due diligence, while consistently exceeding client expectations and ensuring compliance with professional standards.
Kyle is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Colorado Society of Certified Public Accountants (COCPA).
Kyle enjoys playing with his kids and working on his classic car.
Austin joined the SKR+CO Team in 2021. His previous experience includes being the sole bookkeeper and staff accountant for two different nonprofit organization, processing payrolls, and working as an accounts receivable clerk. Outside of accounting, Austin has experience working in customer service, landscaping, and in the culinary arts.
Austin is currently pursuing his Master’s in Accounting at Colorado State University Global. He also an active member of North Springs Alliance Church.
Austin enjoys playing board games, cooking, hiking, and reading fiction books.
Courtney began her public accounting career when she joined the SKR+CO team in 2017. Her specialties include working on nonprofit, healthcare and governmental audits. She also has experience advising clients on various economic and regulatory risks within their industry, resolving complex accounting issues and preparing 990 forms for nonprofit organizations. Prior to accounting, Courtney worked as a Payroll Processor.
Courtney is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Colorado Society of Certified Public Accountants (COCPA). Courtney attends community service opportunities throughout the Colorado Springs area and regularly donates to the Humane Society of the Pikes Peak Region, the Colorado State Fire Fighters Association and to her alma mater, Adams State University.
Courtney enjoys game nights, Colorado’s breweries and distilleries, concerts + watching horror movies.
Steve has been in public accounting since 1983, with significant experience serving nonprofit organizations, healthcare organizations, governmental entities and small- to mid-size businesses.
Steve is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), the Colorado Society of Certified Public Accountants (COCPA) and is an accredited Certified Valuation Analyst (CVA) since 2000. He is a member of the Board of Directors of Pikes Peak Hospice and Palliative Care.
Steve enjoys golf, skiing and travel.
Ellen has been working in public accounting since 1997, specializing in employee benefit plan audits, real estate, construction, nonprofits, and small to mid-size businesses. She is passionate about helping businesses understand their finances to drive growth and increase revenue.
Ellen is a former member and treasurer of Pike Ride, Board of Directors of Catamount Institute and SET Family Medical Clinics.
Ellen enjoys biking, hiking and ice hockey.
Mike has been in public accounting since 1986, specializing in healthcare and employee benefit plans.
Mike is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), the Colorado Society of Certified Public Accountants (COCPA) and the Healthcare Financial Management Association (HFMA). He currently serves as a member of the board for Silver Key Senior Services Foundation. He has formerly served on the Board of Directors for Silver Key Senior Services, Humane Society of the Pikes Peak Region and the Pikes Peak Chapter of the American Red Cross.
Mike enjoys scuba diving, golf and travel.
Dave has been in public accounting since 1975. His experience includes performing, planning and supervising audits of numerous companies in virtually all segments of the southern Colorado economy. He has worked for clients with revenues ranging from none to in excess of $200 million. He specializes in financial institutions, healthcare, real estate and high tech industries.
His experience in valuation encompasses multiple industries and situations, such as estate and gift tax, buy/sell transactions and matrimonial dispute. Dave has testified in a variety of situations involving lost profits and accounting and auditing issues.
Dave has been an accredited Certified Valuation Analyst since 1998. He was previously a member of the numerous Small Business, Real Estate and Nonprofit committees as well as a Forensic and Litigation Services committee.
He serves as secretary of the Garden of the Gods Foundation. He was appointed in 1999 by the Governor to the Board of the Colorado Education and Cultural Facilities Authority (a State of Colorado conduit debt issuer) and served as chairman during his tenure.
Dave is also involved with many local community organizations, including The Pikes Peak Council, Boy Scouts of America, Community Partnership for Child Development (Head Start), Pikes Peak United Way, Pikes Peak Mental Health Center, Pikes Peak Foundation for Mental Health, Palmer Land Trust and the Colorado Springs Economic Development Corporation.
Beth has been in public accounting since 2011. Her experience includes serving nonprofit organizations, small businesses and healthcare organizations.
Beth is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), the Colorado Society of Certified Public Accountants (COCPA) + Healthcare Financial Management Association. She formerly served as the Treasurer and Finance Committee Member of the Independence Center and as the Board Assistant Treasurer for Newborn Hope.
In her free time, Beth enjoys spending time with family, cooking + curating her stamp collection.
Jena has been in public accounting since 2009 and spent over two years with a nationally ranked firm in California prior to joining the SKR+CO team. She has experience advising clients on various economic and regulatory risks within their industry and resolving complex accounting issues. Jena specializes in employee benefit plans, financial institutions, small businesses, healthcare organizations, construction and nonprofit audits.
